Has this programme now run out of steam? Of late it seems to have become a bit boring and stale. Also I think there is an uneasy juxtaposition of light hearted and more serious topics. For example, one minute they are talking with a man who say lost his arm in a car accident and the next they are all giggling over some double entendre..

I only like it when philip and fern are doing it together and they just seem to have the same sense of giggly humour, they don't mean to laugh and never do it to be delibarately hurtful i guess they just cant help themselves and they do get me going too,can think of lot worse programmes.

Dont get to watch this programme, but saw a bit the other day when Fern picked up some pottery piece, an archeolgist (sp) had dug up, and she broke it. That did make me chuckle

I would'nt say TM has run out of steam funkyrich. Phil and Fern are a brilliant working team. I understand your point about switching from serious to laughing mode but the newscaster's also do it. Can anyone remember the newscaster's ending with " Now on a lighter note"?. Its good to see people laughing or getting the giggles on tv these days:-))
