Texas Chainsaw Massacre, there isn't one better. The original of course. Or any asian horror, they're usually better than their remakes and most other horrors for that matter. I've heard The Descent is good also.
The Shining, of course!

texas chainsaw massacre is lame. good concept and a few good bits, but when u really take it all in.... it isnt even scary. leatherface is only scary 1st sceen he's in... after that, with all the chainsaw swingin he's more amusing than scary. he's as slow as a 3 legged dog and u never even see him kill anyone with it exept one guy... which he somehow does without spillin blood... fantastic.

u wanna watch either RING or CREEP.

RING is asian so it's subtitled.

CREEP is best horror film i've seen in a long time.... and i've seen a lot of them.

Just watch Eastenders.
Marwel- brilliant made me laugh! However for a serious suggestion try and get hold of a copy of '**********' oooooooh Pipes!

I wanted to say ghost-watch but it doesn't seem to want to let me

Saw is really good, also The Descent. I have to disagree with gutfish, I didn't enjoy Creep or The Ring but then I guess everyone has different tastes!
The origional of 'the ring' or the ****** holiwood remake?
I watched Dawn of the Dead (the remake) recently. I thought it was superb! I thought the opening 10-15 minutes was one of the best sequencies I've seen in a long time.
birdie- I thought Shaun of the dead was better.
