(AD) after a programme?

I'm probably being really thick but some programmes in my TV guide have (AD) after them, like (R) for repeat, (S) for subtitles etc. Is this something Digital?

it means the film was made after the birth of christ !!!! (tee hee hee)
It stands for audio-described.
