My money's definitely on Steve Owen. He's got form, he's got a motive and he told Mel on their honeymoon that 'he'd sorted it'. All the others are too weak.
Steve Owen is much too obvious.
In other recent events where the answer has been known by a select bunch of people, the bookies' favourite has been correct (eg Big Brother). In this book I think the wise money has been on Lisa (remember betting is on who will be tried for the shooting, not who did it).
I agree - I think Steve Owen is just too obvious of a choice. I think it was either Mark or Ian. Both had reason to shoot him and neither are horribly obvious. That Dan guy also could be a good guess.
If the question is who will be tried for the shooting, the only people you could rule out is Peggy and Jamie. Anyway who thinks Phil saw the killer run off?

I think we all know now. Actually my money was on Lisa because she was the only one of the five candidates not suspected by someone in the square.
