I can’t understand how it’s Friday already again but, apparently, it is! So it must be quiz time again!

I managed my fairly regular ‘middling’ score of FOUR out of seven on the main quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-68789188

I could only manage TWO out of five in the junior quiz though:

Your turn!

The child has come out on top again, scoring double the adult score.

Happy with my new method of selecting the likely answer. But it is not perfect!

Good evening, Patsy!

I feel sure that all the very best people will have an aggregate score of 6 this week πŸ˜Š

At least you avoided any zero scores, Canary 42!

Doesn't sticking a pin into your computer's monitor screen damage it though, Kwillmott? πŸ˜„

Well done on going into the lead, anyway!

Good Evening😊 It cannot get much worse  2/7 and 2/5

Hope Tablo is still happy being "in-house".

Well, with a great deal of trepidation, I thought it was about time I had a go at this 'how-to-make-a-twit-of-yourself' quiz. The problem being, I don't follow the news to any depth - just radio news summaries. And I was right to be nervous - but we've taken the plunge now.

2/7

4/5

Whee!  Only 2/7 in the main  quiz (very American bias I  thought) but I am so chuffed with my inner child at 5/5!! Yeaaaa!

My usual low on the first quiz. Just 1.

But 4 on the junior one.

Question Author

Hi again, Moorea7!

At least you're not last, anyway!

Tablo is still enjoying the comforts of home, thank you, and regaining much of her former weight (as well as her ability to boss me about!)

Welcome, Captain2!

You've got the same aggregate as me but you're obviously a much bigger kid than I am πŸ˜Š.

I hope that we'll be seeing you again in future weeks!

Well done, Jourdain2!

You're in the joint lead at the moment and a perfect kid too!  (I suggest rewarding yourself with some extra time on your rollerskates and a sherbert dip!) πŸ˜„

Question Author

Well done on being a big kid this week, Clover!

4/7 v 3/7

2/5 v 4/5

R.I.P.  Shady. Such a sad week.   Last Saturday, Shady was

attacked by a fox (we think)  and died of multiple injuries, in spite of the best medical attention, quite devastating.

Hope you and your three are safe and well

Good Evening, Chris!

Better scores for me this week

5/7, 4/5

We enjoyed our day out at the Tugs exhibition but you were right about the wind. We did indeed have to hold onto our hats at times! Still it was lovely to meet up with friends and we found a sheltered spot for our picnic.

I hope the kitties are all happy and settled with Tablo safely home. Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead :-)

Question Author

Well done on going out into the lead, Karamia!

The Troublesome Trio are all fine, thanks.

I hope that you'll have a lovely week ahead of you!

Your post has made me so sad, Haras2.  I know how much you loved Shady, how much joy he brought to your life and how much you undoubtedly meant to him.  I'm sure that he had a wonderful life with you though and that you'll have many fond memories of him for many years to come.

Thank you for your post Buen , I'm finding it hard to type through the tears - I know you've been here too   πŸ˜Š

Evening Chris.

3/7

3/5

Not the greatest scores !!

Hope this finds you well  ; ))

Question Author

Yes, Haras2.  I remember well how I felt when my darling Biscuit was killed by a car.  I still had my other cats for company though and I hope that, when you feel that the time is right, you'll find yourself another feline friend too.

Question Author

Hi, Scorpiojo.

Well done on those good scores!

Good evening, Sam.

I'm well, thank you, (although obviously feeling very sad at the terrible news above from Haras2).  I hope that you're in fine shape.

Decent enough scores from you this week, I feel, anyway!

I think I probably will 'cos I love a cat about the place.

But not 'til after the nesting season!
