MB is completely nuts IMO and I would be seriously worried about being there with him.I personally think this has gone past entertainment - he needs help and I firmly believe the other contestants are at risk

I i think Endemol should get him out quick - its not even humorous.

Hi Drisgirl, Makes me sick that Barrymore got so many cheers when he entered the house. Why? Read somewhere he is favourite to win. Again, Why?

We are not watching it in our house but every time we channel hop and get to channel 4 it seems to be MB's face on camera. I glanced up at the tv in the chinese takeaway tonight and guess who's face was on screen?

I think it's scary and I haven't even heard what he has to say.

Question Author

Thanks for both answers - he has taken over the house and is manipulating everyone but I think they are scared.

He took a lemon squeezer (sounds bizarre) and tried to gouge the portrait of the Queens eyes out.

Remember there are dangerous objects in that house.

Drisgirl, I was vowing not to watch this c*ap. But like Bulbousdome, am channel hopping. But its addictive. Barrymore with his crocodile tears makes you want to vomit. The only person who seems OK is that Preston bloke. But is he a celebrity. Didnt even know who he was until he entered the house. And Maggot? Simple but harmless

you 'firmly' believe they are at risk of what? attack? has MB ever attacked anyone before? is he know for violence? he gouged a picture of queen - so what! suddenly he's a danger to society! BB put that pic there for a reason - probably hoping it would get trashed or defaced (or even treason, ha ha)

he's been through a lot and its clearly destroyed him and he seems quite fragile - that doesn't mean he's violent! ...i mean, maybe he is, but at least wait for some evidence before condemning him. sheesh!

har har, how witty.

I have seen plenty of MB. He has always been very manic and crazy and acted over the top remember, but in those days everyone just laughed - now suddenly he's a danger! You were saying all this kind of thing before BB started so don't try to pretend it is an unbiased opinion. My opinions of you are based solely on your comments, as you are quite right - i don't know you.

Did you firmly believe everyone was in danger when Les Dennis was in the house? or how about Vannessa going a bit mad, where you worried then?

BB do extensive psychological testing before they let anyone in the house, so i am sure he's fine and is grateful for your concern.

I am not a fan of MB but i just don't think he deserves so much crap off everyone - not yet anyway.

how about we reserve judgement until he actually does something wrong, eh?

joke-u.r

Hang on a minute!

Are you blind or just too thick skinned can't you see by the opinions of other posts that you are the minority, yet you dictate (like Hitler) and when people disagree with your defence of a pathetic cowardly bully like MB, you call them Braindead!

Think back to recent times with Ian Huntley & Peter Sutcliffe and how the police KNEW they were very dangerous but idiots who share your softly softly braindead opinions allowed them to be released, and the rest is history!

So well done to ALL the logical, intelligent people who can see through MB's crocodile tears and this does NOT include JOKE-O 1%

Hi Guys,

I have found out that MB is posting on this site under the pseudonym JO-KO

Ian Huntley, Peter Sutcliffe, Michael Barrymore!!

How about Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Richard Bacon.

Anyone else want to link mass murderers losely with celebrities that do drugs?

Couldn't have put it better myself, Henneth. Nice one.

I have to say I agree to a great extent with what Joko is saying. Why is everyone so quick to lynch the man? Consider that perhaps he is telling the truth. Do you all really believe he was solely responsible for the man's death in the pool? If we don't know the true facts and like to read and believe all that the 'red top' papers say, then, yes maybe he could be put in a similar bracket as Ian Huntley et al. (although it is pretty crass to do so). He has lost his livelihood over this lynchmob attitude.

Just because joko's in the minority don't mean he/she is wrong, look barrymore has aspects to his charactor that lots of us find irritating.. but scary, get a grip.

Personally before he had the breakdown i thought he was one of the most talented hosts on tv with a genuine affection for his audience rather than the condescending and slimey tone that so many chat show /quiz hosts adopt...then he confessed to being gay and then the hate campaign began, although of course a lot of people will never admit that is one of the reasons they despise him.

Question Author

If my question had been read properly I based it entirely on his bizarre antics within the the BB house.I never at any point referred to his past - only his current behaviour.

joko- couldnt envisage Vanessa when she went a bit loopy stabbing someone with the chalk.

When Les Dennis was emotional - no one was going to drown in his tears.

When MB was gouging the Queens out of the painting with a sharp object - I think that is cause for concern.

I have no real issue with the man - I think it was sensationalist to put him in there and he very obviously requires psychological help. That is the point I am trying to make - I only hope someone does not get hurt.

He should not have any public platform whatsoever. He may not have actually been convicted of any wringdoing, but, IN MY OPINION, , like the coward he is, he fled the house where the scene of Stuart Lubbocks death to save his own backside and refused to give details at the subsequent inquest in case it incriminated him.Joko, i have cosiderd the facts myself and im sure thew others have as well, just because people do not agree with you does not give you the right to insult them
aaarrr, I love this site!! I tried to print my opinions of MB and referred to other celebrities also found "not guilty" of any crime and I got booted off! Love the fact that you can speak your mind here. Persoanlly I've never liked MB and like him less and less as time goes on. His manic behaviour smacks of desperation to me and I find him very false, cowardly and self-pitying.

I agree with Joko. I've been watching BB and to me MB does seem a little insecure but I hardly think theres a danger of he harming another person in there.

Plus I can't believe that you are comparing Michael Barrymore to Ian Huntely, a child killer.

The whole point of BB is to provoce a reaction with the public which it clearly has done. BB works in exactly the same way as they media, they will make you see what they want you to see and nothing more. maybe MB shouldn't be in there, maybe he should but either way, watching that programme will not show you a true likeness of Michael Barrymore, or any other house mates character. It's called edidting.

The producers of BB have a certain responsibility and I hardly think that they if truly believed MB was dangerous, they would be paying him a lot of money to stay in there. Theres always a lot more to the truth then what you see on the box or in the papers.
