Begins tonight, BBC1 and iplayer @ 9pm. This time round, Surane Jones escapes the claustrophobic confines of a submarine and finds herself on an RAF base in Scotland.

The first series was watched by 13M, so there's hope this one will be as good.

She's a great actress and I enjoyed the first series, but it has lost its USP now it is set on an RAF base.

I didn't watch it as there are only 3 episodes currently available. I'll wait until i can binge-watch the entire series.

Watched  it earlier btw - hadn't seen the 1st series. Not sure about it tbh.

No!  She has done Dr Foster and  Gentleman Jack since her previous police job Scott and Bailey.  That ended in 2016

Enjoyed the submarine series and looked forward to last night's offering.  Very disappointed. Stayed until the end but shan't return for another dose. Amateurish and improbable.

There were several times when I thought is that really how it works. The MI5 officer breezing in and out of the interview with the trespasser seemed downright odd.

How could you foget Gentleman Jack, smow?  I can still hear the music in my head and see how stomping through the town.  Great series

I seem to be in the minority but I'm gripped by this new series and prefer it to the first series on the submarine. All totally implausible and lots of red herrings but it's brilliant!
