I'm losing all enthusiasm for this - it is a shadow of the first series and far too easy. Maybe I've just become accustomed to the format and the style of the questions - I know that no maths skill or science knowledge is required.

Anyone else getting jaded? I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges series one

So where did you get to last night
No, not getting jaded...but I think the questions may be getting easier to do. I got all of them except the 1%er right - in real time with no pausing.
I had to laugh at the answer given for the first question, yellow horse!!!!
// Maybe I've just become accustomed to the format and the style of the questions//
I reckon that's it, barry

Sharon, I think some people just want to be on tv.
Ginge, the 1% question I got straight away, the answer just jumped out at me.
Question Author
ellie, I'll have to watch a couple of episodes from series 1 again, to see how I get on. My memory is quite poor so it will probably be like watching them for the first time.
I find it easy, made it almost to the end and I am not that smart. In fact one of my work collegues said he thinks I have mild LD lol
Question Author
I have no idea what LD is
Learning disability

I do think it’s a good idea to have a show which doesn’t rely on general knowledge though
Question Author
I agree, raider, I'm not so good at general knowledge, to my shame
I think it takes a certain level
of travel and ability to retain information. Nothing wrong with not having either of these.
I agree that the difficulty of the questions is diminishing, and thought that the most recent show was the easiest yet, even the 1% question:

What do the following words all have in common?

INTO
THEREFORE
EVALUATE
BENIGN
I agree, barry.
Far too easy now. Get the answer as soon as I read the question.
Will give up watching as Lee Mack is annoying me making silly comments when the contestants are concentrating on the question.
I don't watch it due yo catch up problems plus a pathological hatred of Lee mack. However I got that right. It seems easy, you're right. What happens if they get to yhe last q snd more than 1vperson is still in? Or if noone is still 8n?
Question Author
bednobs, everyone who gets the 1% question right has the opportunity to either go for the question and win their share of the jackpot of take £10000.
I'm not sure what happens if nobody gets through to the 1% question but I am sure it happened recently and the person who did the best throughout the quiz gets through - what the criteria is for judging 'the best' is, I have no idea. Maaybe someone else can clarify
