I love duck but have never tried it from a can. Can anyone recommend it?

I used to like him if he's the cook I'm thinking of, my wife certainly did some years ago.

Would you fancy trying it?

Don't fancy it myself. I can't remember how he used it now but I think it was part of a recipe

yes - if it is a good brand like Castaigne or La Belle Chaurienne.

Coincidentally, this morning, I have bought a local farm duck for roasting tomorrow ....two to three meals plus the stock and fat for roast spuds!

We eat a lot of duck, we all enjoy it. We had wild mallard a while back but wouldn't bother with again.

I agree with DTC. Good brands are superb. We buy ours in France - but I can’t remember off hand what it is. I do know it’s in a big round tin. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
