I very moved enjoyed last night's episode, found the questions easy overall but stumbled on one - the number sequence. I am the first to admit I am not very good with numbers but really didn't see the sequence - obvious when you know the answer.

I thought the £1m question was particularly easy, but then I wasn't gambling nor under the spotlight on national tv. I wouldn't even be able to tell you my own name under those conditions.

How did you get on?

Struggled with some, but found the number sequence easy. I couldn't get the last question.
We would have made a good team.
Question Author
We would, Hopkirk.
I thing Lee is a good host, I was doubtful at first but he gets the tone just right
I also didn't get the matchstick number one right. Couldn't grasp it at all.
But pleased with how I did on other questions. Didn't get the 1% question either.
Question Author
Did you get the number sequence, Sharon?
No Barry, hopefully someone on here will explain.
Question Author
The sequence was
201 720 182 019 202 020 212 0??

If you change the gaps the get years starting 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 so the answer is 22 for 2022
All these people who found it easy. Did you pause the TV?
Strangely, as in the previous series, I find the earlier "easy" questions are the ones that fox me (didn't even get the first one right!) but the later harder ones I can answer quite quickly. Got all the numerical ones easily (much to OH's annoyance!) but not the last 1%er.
(And, no - don't pause the TV...we don't have that facility and don't record it either. I'd regard that as cheating, of the highest order!)
Ahhh, I meant the matchstick one. Can someone explain that one to me.
I understand the other one.
The numbers in the sequence were made up of decreasing numbers of matches....the last digit hade to be made from only two. So, that would be the digit "1".
Thanks ginge!
I forgot to watch it! Can someone please tell me what the 1% qn was, not the answer just the qn?
What 2 letters can you put to make a word of the below

_ L _ _ V _ L _ _ _
Missing letters

-L--V-L---
Oh yes, 2 letters
Question Author
Ellie, I did write down all the questions and answers but they are now outside waiting for the dustman.
You could watch it on Catch Up.

Oh! Just remembered although maybe not word for word. Here goes.

Which of these two meals end quicker?
Breakfast or dinner?

Question Author
DOH! I gave the first question, not the 1% question.

Bottom of the class for me
Thanks all, I got the 2 letters but probably wouldn't have got them in time!
That's ok barry, got it too!
I've heard of inflation but how did £93,000 become the £1m question?
The balance is made up of sovereignty and control, FoxLee 2.
