Jill?
It's his deaf neice - his siser's daughter. I find having to keep reading the sub-titles very tedious when they converse in sign-language.

is that woman in it this week his sister? i couldnt quite work it out. lAlso, the young man working with them - does he have some sort of disability
His brother's daughter. There was a question that Jack could be her dad because he had a fling with her mother
Velvy could be on the spectrum but he has only just left his community of Orthodox Jews and has no notion of the ways of the world
barry is right.
It's become an awful watch imo. Aoife is Cara's mum; her dad was Jack's brother, Ryan. She & Jack had a fling way back when & she was hoping to rekindle it, I think. I don't care that Cara's deaf & it *would* be ok, except that she's such a badly-written, bloody annoying character (as is Aoife). Again, imo.

Quite a bit here - https://tinyurl.com/yakuv6tz
Aoife is his sister in law, Cara's mother
Sorry lik crossed posts. Agree both characters are annoying. Promoting sign language seems to be the latest to. 'Campaign ' - no bad thing I quess

I hadn’t watched it for about 3 seasons and am actually enjoying this quite a bit
I know they got the murderer in the end, but did they make any arrests over the bridge blowing up?
I used to really enjoythe early ones. Now they are too “ woke” and can anyone really believe the pathologists really become the detectives .? Not I.

Wandering for Forensic Pathologists to detectives just does not do it for me and I wish Fox would put a bit of weight on.
I fell asleep.
I sacked it years ago when the team began accompanying plod on door to door enquiries and sitting or listening in when suspects were being questioned, sometimes even being allowed to ask questions.
Have to say, i don't miss it.
Like Ken, we gave up with it a long time ago.

I disagree. I don't want to be subject to a "campaign" when I'm supposed to be entertained. If the BBC wants to encourage people to learn sign language they can dedicate a programme to it on BBC4. I can then choose whether to watch it or not.
I haven't watched it since Clarissa, for it was she, decided to go and do investigation in the field and was shown as a somewhat dodgy silhouette bouncing across the screen, apparently traversing extremely rough terrain in her wheelchair requiring the viewer to suspend disbelief in the interest of inclusivity.

It's pretty grim fare.
Total rubbish now. Used to enjoy the first few series with what’s her name in it but since Emilia Fox has taken that part I find it sleep inducing. Such a shame.
