Has it ever been mentioned what Esther and Mike do for a living?

They have a lovely house but always seem to be around on any given time or day.

Not much - they are deep in debt, the bailiffs turned up the other day!
Don't you think that this storyline, like everything else on Corrie, is getting too ridiculous for words?
Anything that involves Summer is quite miserable
Hope this is the last of them. What a stupid storyline. Even more stupid is Summer. Cannot believe she was once university material!
how they are showing an 18 year old not handling diabetes is awful quite frightening for anyone diagnosed with this ( both my grandchildren are type 1)
Miserable depressing story lines just because they have to cover the latest issue of the day. How about just light hearted entertainment with a few laughs thrown in? Then of course we can do away with the obligatory help phone line at the end of each episode.
This latest episode --being locked in a bedroom seems like a previous scene maybe from another soap? I can't place the soap but the house looked familiar. Someone banging on the window to attract the attention of people in the drive. Anyone remember ?
Emmerdale saw Layla locked in her bedroom when Jacob went to see her dealer?
^^^Thanks but it's not that one ,bobbisox1
No probs andres
The storyline that baffles me is Stephen swanning around the street all the time and constantly checking up on Teddy. Isn't he supposed to be working at the knicker factory? He's never there!

Didn't John Stape lock Rosie in a bedroom? Charlie Stubbs locked Shelley in a bexroom, too, I think
Thanks barry1010-^^^-just thinking about it Corrie must have been the most one of the most prolific places for kidnapping. There have been loads . It was just that the Summer one seemed so familiar. I will probably remember which one in a few days time.

Yes, but how many houses these days have keys on the outside of rooms? Even if they did have locks wouldn't they key be on the inside?

(Unless you are planning to kidnap someone, of course!!)
....and windows that do not open
They're actors LOL
Can you imagine 3 Dads and 1 boyfriend turning up at your hospital bedside? I'd be ducking under the duvet!
I think there was a similar scene in a TV drama that was broadcast in the last 12 months but I can't think which one
