I can't work out what happened to most of the days of this week but, apparently, somehow it's Friday again. So here we go once more . . .

A 'middling' start for me, with a score of FOUR out of seven in the main quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-63303650

The kids' quiz is fairly straightforward this week, meaning that I probably ought to have scored a maximum but I could only manage FOUR out of five:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

In the sprint event, I scored a 'passable' (but still far from 'brilliant) FIVE out of ten:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63279932

So that makes an aggregate score of 13 for me. Easy enough to beat, surely?

3/7 and 4/5. Just about avoided the dreaded "P" point, Chris!
Good Evening, Chris!
Managed to draw level with you this week despite the timed letting me down.
6/7, 4/5, 3/10
Hope you enjoy a lovely weekend :-)
Five and four.

Hi, 10CS. Decent enough scores, I feel.

As someone with prostate problems, 'the dreaded "P" point' might mean something different to me than what you're referring to though ;-)

Good evening to you too, Karamia. Well done on matching my score (although it's not often so hard to do, I suppose!). That timed quiz is always a "right so-and-so", isn't it?

I hope that your weekend goes well too.
Six on the timed.

Well done, Cashier! You're out in the lead at the moment!

Below par this week, need a clean sheet next time to get back on track I feel.

Hi, Sam!

Decent enough scores but not brilliant - which roughly describes my usual performance!

Apart from 'a little bit of a cold that won't shift' (a.k.a. "man flu"), I'm fines, thanks. I hope that you're fighting fit!
Question Author
Much the same as me then, Fatticus.

Let's hope that we can both do a bit better next week!
We can but hope, Chris!
4/7,4/5,6/10. Puss Puss waiting for the lap to be free of I-pad, Bailey still hiding in a cupboard ( upstairs again). Looking after Norman, Magic and Bruiser whilst their guardians are away, it’s kitty time!

Good scores, I think, Campbellking!

Bailey obviously likes that cupboard! I've cleared a load of stuff out of a cupboard myself this week, hoping to find a better use for the space. Moonbeam promptly decided that an excellent use for it would be as somewhere for him to sleep! (It's much better than him sleeping outside, in the cold and the rain, as he's been doing for the past few months though!). At the moment, he's on my knee, washing himself and leaving me with only one hand to type.

I'm sure that you'll have fun with five cats in your house!

Perfect, Patsy!

(Well, your scores are a perfect match for mine, anyway!)

6/10
5/7, 3/5 and a lousy 2/10 for me this week, Chris.
A better week for me, Buen. 4/7, but a joyful 5/5 on the kid's. This was helped by getting a news item wrong on the adult's :)
Finished off with 7/10.
Yippee!

Good scores - and better than mine - as always, Lie-in King!

Well done, indeed, Jourdain2! You're out in the lead!

That holiday obviously left you far too relaxed to do anything much at speed, Tony ;-)
far too relaxed to do anything much at speed, Tony ;-)

Your right, Chris. I have even started to sip instead of gulp now ;-)
