morning, Tuesday and the week is rolling along, i Hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?

I am waiting on the paperwork for my bloodtest, the post is definitely slow and i know they are on strike again soon whch is a nuisance as i can't do the test without it.

A friend is phoning later to arrange to meet up for a coffee soon, which will be nice, other than that no plans.

it rained quite heavily in the night, today's forecast for the capital is lowly 21c, with rain showers to follow....
It bucketed down here. I hope it holds off this morning for my first school run.
Morning, Emmie. Monday was a holiday here, Labour Day, and today is the start of school for most kids. No big plans for today so I will just mosey around the apartment and the odd job. Forecast to be 25.

is it your sons first day at school, if so hasn't time flown...

He's only going 9am 'til 12:50pm today and tomorrow and then starts full-time next week. However we're going to struggle throughout September as my in-laws are away for most of it and now I've suddenly lost one of my home-working days and therefore applying for extra wraparound care at this late stage is going to be difficult.

If I get all the wraparound care I need I still can't drop him off until 8am and getting from his school to my work at that time of the morning and getting a parking space is going to be hell on Earth.

I wish my parents lived nearer.

25c is ok Mac, better than what we have, that's for sure.
It's nice to take it easy sometimes, no need to rush around any longer, then you can catch up with family and have a beer or two...
how are the tomato plants coming along.
That sounds like a bit of a situation you're in LG. As Emmie said, I hope it works out and runs a little smoother than you anticipate.
The foliage is starting to fade, but still lots of tomatoes!
It should be better when in-laws are back off their jollies, Sanmac.

I hope you're well by the way.

that's great Mac, keep em coming.
Emmie, earler I was watching an old movie made in 1945 called "It's In The Bag". In one scene, this guy was showing off this new invention of his, and guess what it was?...A water-trap for mice!!
Question Author
that's a coincidence Mac, it may come to that.
What are your plans for all the tomatoes, Sanmac?
LG, I'm eating quite a few in sandwiches and also fried with bacon and eggs. My sister, niece, and nephew also are using them up. Next year I'll plant 2 instead of 4 on my balcony!
Question Author
how long have they lasted Mac?
I love fresh tomatoes, Sanmac, but sometimes they just keep coming faster than you can use them. My parents grow them every year and end up freezing down loads of soup and stuff.
morning emmie xx san xx Ladycg xx can't believe wee sausage is going to school !!
I planted them on May 24th, and many are still there saying "Pick me, pick me.".
