I notice an actress Gillian Anderson is in Bleak house. Does this mean that Scully was lady Dedlock, or was I dreaming ?

That was her alright. She did a good job as well, even if she did look like she was sucking on lemons most of the time.

Her accent was absolutely brilliant, I thought. The sucking lemons bit was probably all a cunning ploy.

gillian anderson has got an english accent in real life, even though shes american she was apparently brought up in crouch end in london until the age of 8. her accent in the x files is put on! spooky eh?
