The books are very good.
Kustard I would stick to the books! I think the two adaptations we have seen have been quite poor losing all the tension created in the books.
I thoroughly enjoyed the books but not the last TV series; I'm hoping this one is better.
If you do decide to read the books I recommend you read them in order; whilst each one is stand-alone there is a time-dependant thread running through them. You can get the order from the Peter James website.
Good drama but the subject matter horrified me.

I found the 'prank' a bit horrific
but it got better

I didn’t realise that this was a second series.
What constitutes a series? There was only one episode shown previously although two were made and the second one held over until Sunday night. I think there are 3 or 4 more to come.
As per my link.

I don’t really know. I just thought Sunday was first showing of anything then found out there had been a previous GRACE episode on. And I believe there are 4 episodes in this bit, with the one just gone being the 1st one.
Question Author
So I think(and could be utterly wrong) that last year we saw episode one, then Sunday we saw episode 2, which was also the first of a 4 episode stretch which has also been named series 2.
