I must admit to have seen snippets in the past, but quickly decided never no more. That was years ago and I've never watched even little snippets since. And like Shirley I don't like seeing creatures being used for human entertainment, including creepy crawlies. I remember years ago when snips of Japanese TV were shown in this country and we were all horrified. And now we do the same.

I also don't like programs where people are subjected to doing things that make them Ill.

But I suppose if it's for more publicity then some will do it. And lots of people enjoy it which doesn't surprise me.
I'd rather watch paint dry!
And even the Jungle is actually a film set in a National Park. So why go all the way to Australia!!

And money Pat, they’ve been love trysts inside the camp ,even an ill fated marriage with Katie Price and Peter Andre , there’s been hissy fits from people like Anthony Cotton and Gemma Collins , those are the bits I like to have a laugh at
Good question pat2604 - we've just had the UN Climate Change Conference and this is a two finger up to all that.
I have never seen Gemma Collins in anything! How is she a celebrity? Some people do surprise me that go on it though, but I can't think of anyone at the moment. It puts me right off them if I see they are going on it.

Earlier someone said Richard Madley is in it, I don’t mind him
I think its a programme that has now gone well past its sell by date. As a new concept it was interesting, but now its the same old same old, except changed from a film set in Australia to a film set in Wales. it's incredible to think that people actually thought they were in a real jungle in Australia lol! The 5* hotel was just around the corner apparently. There was a programme on in th 1990's very similar, where it really was in a jungle but I can't think of it, that was pretty good.
I've just looked through the whole list of Celebrities. Out of the names I recognised, Mo Farah surprised me and a couple of other sports celebrities.

The Versace hotel is a 6* , perhaps that’s what drew them there at the time as win or lose they got to spend time in it :0)
Maggie, I suppose it's a nice free Jolly for all the team who get accommodated in the adjacent 5 star hotel!

He was the perfect gentleman as always Pat
It seems to be the law that Ant & Dec win best TV presenter year after year. How else to explain it?

I won’t be watching.
An emphatic NO.
Question Author
Hehe, the viewing figures are gunna be low this time around with only me and A.Nother watching it :0(
Ant and Dec? Well their names are easy to spell and cost less to engrave on a trophy. Bah humbug.
I agree Cloverjo. Best presenters? The worse in my opinion and really boring after so many years? There are a lot of really good presenters. But some many people still think they are good. We avoid anything they are in.
You are amongst millions Bobbi. It's just us grumpy Abers that will avoid.
I bet Richard Madeleley brings booze in, he has a gift for acquiring it, lol.
