Peter Hitchins

What do people here think of Hitchins? I listened to him recently on the radio and I don't always agree with his views but his intellect and way of putting points across is so impressive, his brother was equally impressive too

He seems to like to occupy the extreme ends of the political spectrum. For years he was an ardent Marxist now he seems to want to go to the other extreme and to be a staunch Conservative.

I always finding very interesting to listen to, don't always agree but I respect him which is sadly in short supply at the moment of those who disagree with opposing points of view.

His brother Christopher Hitchins was vastly superior in intellect and expression. Peter talks common sense to those that will listen, most don’t.

I remember when his brother (who had cancer) said that he looked down on people with lesser cancers than his. I can't say I have any time for either of them.

Peter Hitchins is a very good speaker,he can get his point across without being abusive,he gives the lefties a run for their money when
he's on question time,perhaps that's why they do not invite him on now.
