Same dentist for forty years. Wife went today as filling they did fell out. Examination £23. Appointment for refilling November 9th. Cost £69. NOVEMBER absolutely ridiculous.
Go private and they'll do it tomorrow :-(

Ill have to have a tongue replacement at the end of the month though.
The tips knackered now with its continued poking and probing of the cavity...
Apparently my wife asked about private. The said same date. I don’t believe it. I suggested a different dentist. I think they want her off National health permanently.

Rang from work today and they offered me a cancellation for this afternoon...which I couldnt take...said next available option was next month.

A work mate told me today that he got struck of his dentist practice because he hadnt attended his 6 month check up....during lockdown!!

I don't do politics or news but Meh!!
you may have to live with for months.....mine came out Day-2 of Lockdown 1, the root now removed but how many months is that - 18? The tooth is an upper pre-molar so not visible.

Not to concerned about loosing a tooth as such,
Just the inconvience of having to put up with a jagged edged stump for a month.....
I always thought it was 48 and told loads of patients this but one of the dentists in the emergency department in my hospital told me it 24 hours for an emergency, which yours sounds like it is.
