I don't know whether to start recording them each week to binge when its ended or just watch weekly. There are 7 episodes this season.

What would you do?

I've waited so long to watch the new series, i doubt i would last another 7 weeks without encountering spoilers along the way. The media will be all over it, as per usually, it would be nigh on impossible not to read/hear of something which takes place.

I would watch it twice, live, to get the full impact without spoilers, then recorded, to pick up all the clever hints.

That is exactly what I did with last season of GOT. I had to watch every episode at 2am because of possible spoilers.

Having never seen it, it does look good the Googleboxers will no doubt be watching it, that's I know what's happened in the last series.

You defo need to watch it from the beginning, Arky. I've watched them all several times now and I pick up some new detail with each watch. I even got all my work colleagues to watch them over the last few weeks and they loved it as well :o)

Tigger I'll put it the to watch list, watching so many others I've never seen but recommended. If you do binge watch though my point being they will be spoilers in Gogglebox so you'd have to give that a miss as well.

I must be one of very few who has never watched gogglebox. A daughter of one of my colleagues works on the programme as well.

I've never watched Gogglebox. Never. Mrs Clarion watches it regularly. Wouldn't miss it. Laughs her head off. I'm still not convinced!

I'd say that yes ideally you should watch from series one, but it's not absolutely necessary.
I watched series five before any of the others and it didn't spoil my enjoyment or leave me in general wondering what on earth was going on. I'd have appreciated it more if I had watched the other series first, but generally it was a case of "what you don't know you don't miss" :-)

I watched all the previous series of LOD but I'm not watching this one as I thought it became a bit boring and predictable. But that's just me. I know some who thinks it's fantastic. Hey ho!

Gogglebox is great. I love some of the families. Some I dislike . It’s very entertaining .

Agreed Anne, A show I thought I'd never watch, I was channel hopping many years ago and they were watching Aliens. I stopped to see what they thought, after PMSL. I was hooked. There's only that drip Giles that I don't like amazed Mary hasn't killed him by now, I would've.
