Why, what's on?
I'm binge watching The Crown season 4 at the moment. What's on BBC 4?

Lady J must be a jazz fan. Hurts my ears.
I'm not into jazz but I do like Ella Fitzgerald. Amazing voice.

Sorry to hear that Ken. Good job I'm away from neighbours and hope that OH lets me turn the volume up.

Spent many happy hours in Ronnie Scotts. Anyone else?
Jazz - no thanks.
Having said that, i was (and still am) mad on prog rock and, when some of the tracks i loved listening to, are broken down into their component parts, the amount of 'jazz' in there is quite astounding, particularly in the keyboard sections.
I was a big fan of the Chris Barber Jazz Band at one time, many moons ago. He had some brilliant musicians playing for him.

Was friends as school with someone who was related to Chris Barber. Nice man and he was always helpful when we needed tickets for something. Sadly she got into the drugs scene and died just before her 19th birthday. Makes you realise how dangerous they are.
I've been watching repeats on the Drama channel on a Sunday night as I enjoyed them first time around. Les Miserables and Wolf Hall.
I like jazz off most sorts and love the divine Ella. I missed a programme on BBC4 about her a few nights ago - Friday possibly - and I'll catch it on iPlayer. Dave Brubeck was one of my favourites too and the drummer Buddy Rich. I saw him in concert once and remember how furious he got when they couldn't get the lighting right.

Managed to get to see Count Basie a couple of times when he was over here. So much of a highlight.
I like a bit of jazz.
Jazzs things up a bit.
I likeTrad.
o god I wondered if this were mainstream AB irony

the blob - hits of 1875 - how day do dat den? = riveting stuff
I think I might knit a dishcloth
I’m afraid that this is how I will always perceive jazz:
