I did but I had a job with the names and who was who. I'll take a look at it next week to see if I can make everyone out better.
I loved it. I was initially a bit confused with the characters looking quite similar, but this happens in new dramas and I think it will get grittier as it progresses. Very colourful and I love Indian music.
I watched it and really enjoyed it. I thought it felt authentic and the tension due to the poltical situation is interesting. Don't usually watch BBC dramas anymore for various reasons, especially adaptations of the classics, but felt this one might be truer to the book.
I watched the first 25 minutes of it then turned it off.
i didn't watch it, nor intend doing so.
I quite enjoyed it, will give it a fair chance.
I love Indian music and clothes but couldn't get on to it. I turned it over too.

Their clothes are spectacular.
We both enjoyed it but like others have said, found all the names a bit confusing.
I’ve wikkied it and now have a better understanding of who fits where. We’re sticking with it.
We switched it off. For all the above reasons plus the acting.
One of my good friends comes from India. She watched it and said it made her feel homesick and that she wanted to go back. She misses the colour, smells, food etc. I watched about half an hour before visitors arrived but will watch on catch up.

I watched it to the end, but I found it too boring. Unfortunately, I'm not a lover of Indian music, so that in itself put me off. Don't think I will be watching further episodes.
I think I might have Indian ancestry way back! Apparently my very English grandfather used to tune in to Indian music on the 'wireless' and loved it like I do. I find it very calming. India fascinates me and I always wanted to go there. Too late now, unfortunately. Our lounge is full of Indian colours!

I think it evoked that period shortly after independence when India was trying to establish its identity and there were tensions between India and Pakistan and between the Hindu and Muslim communities (which still exist).
All boys are suitable, it just takes the right tailor.
That's where this is going to become interesting Dr Morgan. Especially with the love affair with the young couple. It was so nice to see a drama which was unusual and don't think the acting was poor at all. It fitted in with the period.
