As long as no black magic
Don't black witches get all the fun anyway though?

;-)
Sister-in-law's a white witch. Just waved at her as she flew over Pendle:-)
If by "White Witch" you mean "Good Witch", then you seem to be implying that "White" and "Good" go together and that perhaps their opposites "Black" and "Bad" go together. (I'm not trying to be serious or "Trollish" :))
A real witch wouldn't need to ask, she'd know the difference;-)
The baddie always wore the black hat in the westerns I watched as a kid, atheist :-) Nearly always rode a black horse, too?
You can be black and be a White Witch.
Easy peasy, rowanwitch. Here are all the instructions that you will ever need.

The black stuff is mostly pretty complicated, but good witch sounds a bit wizard of Oz. Had the books for years, it's mostly a bit of herbalism and common sense on the nice side. There are plenty of black witches who are white too, mostly in it for dodgy sex and ritual.

Mamya, the name of the thing has its own power,
it's due about the black evil, white good connection but that's historic I think I'd better be a green witch for now
When you say 'for now' is that 'in the Mean Time'?
I love my potions, tea bag, boiling water and milk.
Change if you wish.

In the now and forward where at that instant it is the now and now has become then

Mamya I wasn't having a go,more making the point if a name has been used historically it has resonance so it is hard to adopt a change without losing the energy of that resonance

Strong Assam, milk no sugar. Still my favourite herbal remedy for all ills.
Be a pink witch - confuse folks a little bit.
Question Author
Hell no. That will offend a whole different group
White and black have had connotations of good and bad in many cultures for as long as history has been recorded. It's nothing to do with skin colour, simply a representation of day and night, light and dark, etc.
Exactly, no need to change.
White witch is a ridiculous term. If you proclaim to be a witch you are a witch, plain and simple. You perform white or black magic or a mixture. You declaring black witches are 'mostly in it for dodgy sex and rituals' is like saying catholic priests are only in it for kiddy fiddling. All magic white or black requires rituals, even making herbals requires rituals. You can call yourself a white witch of course -we would call you a fluffy bunny lol!
