some weeks back, we watched the entire first episode.
Purely on the basis that episode one introduces you to the characters etc., but strewth, we were glad when it finished and vowed never to return.
Imagine our shudder when we saw it was coming to the beeb.
Oi'll give it foive.
^^^^^ oi yo, am yo tekin the pee owta my accent ?
Accent? Never noticed. :-)
You have a short attention span. I think you've done the right thing in quitting early because there's a few episodes and they're all quite long.

Was hopeful it would be worth watching as I think there are eight episodes and it would have been something on telly to look forward to.
Can’t win ‘em all.
I thought it was great (but I am a science fiction fan). I’m betting that DEVS is researching immortality. No spoilers please!
i do get puzzled when people say "i'll never get that time back".
No one ever gets time back.
Why did they show that woman the footage of the bloke setting fire to himself?
I think the top man, tired of being shunned by the world, has set up an empire to unearth the secrets of male grooming and table manners.
Very good, Dooogie.

It’s just a phrase really Bednobs, isn’t it, to indicate what a waste of time a person feels they’ve spent.
Of course no one ever gets the back...yet! ;)

Since you may have a Stokie accent (I don't even though I have lived here all my life) you should not be offended at a Birmingham reference -

I thought it was a Corrie spin off!! :-(
Me a Stokie accent lol.

Ohhhh yes I should, andy. Janice "Oi'll give it foive" comes from Wednesbury ( a couple of miles away from me ), Black Country not Birmingham.

And Doreen.
Tipton.
I gave up halfway during episode 2 and will not return. Far too leisurely.
