I`ve got a book about the Profumo affair upstairs. Haven't got around to reading it yet. Maybe I should, before I watch the series.
I shall certainly record it to watch even if I don't watch it live.
Everything now seems to be so long, have so many episodes. This is 6 episodes, Gold Digger was 6 episodes (about 3 too long, with a duff, weak ending), His Dark Materials is 8 hours, and the new version of A Christmas Carol is THREE hour-long episodes.

Unless a drama really grabs me then I increasingly won't put in the time to get to the end. I only persevered with Gold Digger because I'd already invested in the first couple of episodes, and didn't guess that it would just peter out.
I'll probably do the same as Mamya.

I`ll record it (just in case work goes tits up) but I should be home and able to watch it.
Not sure if I'll watch The Trial of Christine Keeler. However, thanks for the reminder about A Christmas Carol brainiac, looking forward to this.
I record everything I want to watch so I can skip through the adverts - although much gets deleted unwatched. I'll record this.

Brainiac - if a show is very good 6 episodes is not long enough for me. I never watched The Crown but have recently been watching series 1 - it could have gone on and on as far as I was concerned.
It's been written by Steven 'Peaky Blinders' Knight, maggie, and is replete with the F word, and I think I read that it begins with a child urinating on Jacob Marley's grave.....
Ooh, a bit of reality then brainiac? Should be really good.
Yeah, we get a lot of children urinating on graves round my way :)
Another one to watch or record - I may order take aways ;-)

^and don't forget Mystify about Micheal Hutchence followed by an INXS concert on BBC2 on 28th.
I'm looking forward to seeing 'A Christmas Carol' seeing as it's been written by Steven Knight.
OOh Ta 237, I have guests so may have missed that.

Yes, I wouldn't have known about it but I tried to see the film a month or so ago. It was only showing in art house cinemas in London so I never got around to it. A friend emailed me and told me about it tonight.
Looking forward to both The Trial of Christine Keeler and A Christmas Carol. Have read that the latter is a very dark version of the story, produced by the same team that gave us Taboo.
What was her crime?? Sleeping with MPs???
Profumo was accused of being a soviet spy, , Sharon.
