What has happened to the vicars wife? I remember she had a fierce auntie.

As far as Mrs. bookbinder knows (and my wife is fairly knowledgeable about the Archers), neither Usha nor her auntie have featured in the programme for some time. The script writers have - we suspect - simply not written anything for the two ladies.

The vicar (Alan) had/has a daughter from a previous marriage. Them vicars, eh.

I have followed The Archers for donkeys years but the way characters suddenly drop out these days is bizarre! What happened to the Polish family, Matt Crawford has gone quiet, the lads Pippa was involved with Toby and ?. I’m sure they will deal with the character( goodness I can’t remember the actors name, tip of my tongue,)
Joe Grundy’s passing respectfully when the time is right, the new writers are messing it up a bit I think at present, in my opinion!

Toby and Rex have both been heard recently.
Can't say I recall a Polish family. I'm wondering what's happened to Kathy and Jamie.
