Watching this tonight, re the prisoners of war held in this country.
It made me remember when I was quite young round about 10 ish years of age. I met a young German called Christian who said he was a prisoner of war. He was allowed to go where he wanted during the day but had to go back to the Nissan huts used as a prison.
I've not thought of this for a very long time, how would I find out about more of this.
Any ideas folks?

I thoroughly enjoyed finding out about Cultybraggan Camp however.

There is nothing on that list that applies Mamya but thank you for trying.
A large % of Germans did NOT support the Nazi party . They were locked up if they allowed their views to become public ! A lot of them managed to get to England and were held in prison camps .
