Yes...people talk absolute crap. Take what you hear with a pinch of salt! Life can be like living in Chinese whispers.
Yes. If I had known how my country would turn out, as it has now, I would of emigrated to New Zealand years ago when I was a lot younger.
No, I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey of finding out and continue to do so.
Same as Retro. We could have been neighbours:)
Good point retro.
No Dave Neighbours is from OZ. :-)
Lol
No... it might have changed things and I think I have ended up where I am meant to be.
what's up with this country?
A chance to trot out my favourite maxim:

"Life is far too important to be taken seriously"

..................... Lord Darlington: Lady Windermere's Fan
To put money on Manchester United in 1999 winning the treble.
If i had known MY country would turn out the way I didn't want it to, i would have went to another country. Because, i'm just too good for this land, aint I. I deserve to relax, not have all this political, religious rain clouds over my head.
"what's up with this country?"

It's not good enough for retro and co. Obviously. It's turnt out all rotten tomatoes.
It also implies the country use to be so great? Like there was actually a point in time someone or some people was or were happy with the status quo. To be honest, it bends me over.. sides need stitching.
You're a Londoner... aren't you Spath.
Nay, west mids my good sir.
I think the environment I was brought up in I've just listened to people talk complete rubbish. Most of it untrue, I don't listen now but I did to an extent when I was young.

And be kind whenever you can be, it means the world to people. My son used to do a paper round, we were walking back from the shop and an elderly woman cuddled him and said she missed him (he used to open all her jars for her)
I agree with a lot what you're saying... I just thought you were further darn south.. no offence intended my friend.
This country along with the workshy great unwashed think, for the most part, that allegiance and patriotism is a dirty concept and smacks of jingoism. A country that kowtows to the holders of the race card and lets other Parliaments take precedence over our own sovereignty.I could go on but peace lily is splitting his sides laughing and I don’t wish to rupture his hernia. He might miss a day of work.!
you're right retro we're so hard done by, where is my god given right to everything i've ever wanted?
