Did anyone watch the new programme The City and The City on at 9 pm tonight? Not 100% sure exactly what it was about - seems a bit 1984 to me. Any thoughts?

I turned over after half hour.

Decided to stay with it as I thought it looked amazing, like a grungy 1970s Bulgaria - well, one of the cities did.....Really well directed - great art direction - and not like anything else on TV at the moment; can't think where it's heading.

Quite well done and very thought-provoking. Looking forward to the next episode. I love anything 'off the wall', so to speak. Thankfully, we have 2 such programmes on air at the moment with the first episode of Kiss Me First having been shown earlier this week.
