we don't have netflix, but we watched the original The Revenant via another medium sometime ago.
Cor, it was good.
Mr Alba watched the newer one some time afterwards and enjoyed it too.

Thank you both - looks like I'm going to have to buy the DVD. My wife is having a Tom Hardy crush and she also rather likes the chap who plays Arthur in Peaky Blinders, apparently he is in it, too.

Lots of ABers raved about the Revenant. I thought it was dark, dismal, gory and depressing but I'm no film critic.
