I think this was answered recently if you do a search on AB
Sorry, I was thinking of the George Michael Cowboys and Angels one used in another Diana trailer
um um
if you replay it with the subtitles on
they may tell you
" muzak playing- so and so "
twenty years later I thought the look back was more measured

I thought at the time ( but really who cares) that the panoramee program had precipitated whole sale resignations of her posh and titled staff - on the grounds " we really dont need THIS!"

one hack reported after his resignation interview with a now nonentity: after she said "I am not working for the Princess now." I could hear a group of children cheering in the background !

and poor Prince Harry - after my mother knocked about for a while I now cant find anyone to marry
and
as a ten year old I couldnt understand why people were so upset at a death of someone they had never met - - -
I have played a bit again
with Champagne Charlie's mush being famous for 15 mins again
[I am only doing this for you and artistic reasons you must understand]

and the music appears to be commissioned
It's the trailer rather than the programme, unless the same music featured. I've tried to find the trailer online but haven't come up with anything. If you can find it Malcyb and post a link then it might help us identify the music.

If I find it I will let you all know too
oops should have read the question - trailer

watched it again with a friend - again for artistic and musicological purposes only ( he is a Diana fan poor guy )
along with a running commentary - "mummy's on the phone"
Prince " and I said "aw shucks" "
voice - I dont think it was "shucks" -
"and mummy couldnt speak right then because her mouth was doing something else so I went on playing"

and later there was mournful music with a lady yodelling or something - still unlabelled

and Ladies Fellowes and Whiteface* reminiscing - "god were we really related to that ? what a thing to be famous for 15 mins about..." .... * MacCorkodale

Nothing about Champagne Charlie saying to Di "No you cant stay here - far too dangerous and we have children" not a word amongst the cloying anodyne sentiment

"Princess behaving badly" or
" Massed Spencers all behaving badly"
more like
Kate Bush, this womans work ?

Yes, well done and Many Thanks to Tamborine for identifying it. From her 1989 album called The Sensual World. This single reached Number 25 in the charts in December 1989. Cheers.
Awful screech to introduce such an emotional program.
