I've just finished off season 2 of 24 and have a couple of questions?

1. Does Lynn Kreskie ( not sure of spelling ) turn up in later series or was she a goner?

2. At the Stadium where Sheri Palmer is ambushed the villain has a sniper in place. However when Jack grabs his gun he starts firing bursts . Is there a sniper rifle that can fire automatic ?
