She's a very good actress. I find the other policewoman's speech a little hard to follow at times though. We ran it back over the same section three or four times last night in an effort to understand what she was saying.

Put your subtitles on, Naomi. I'm enjoying it but can you tell me, how the guy/attacker who was stabbed in the shoulder, ended up in custody? I must have missed that bit

Chrissa, I think he was hauled in because he wasn't keeping an eye on the prisoner he was supposed to be supervising.

I'm not convinced by Anna Friel's portrayal of a detective, but I am inquisitive as to how the series will pan out rather than "hooked".

I wish they would hurry up and explain, a) why Marcella stopped being a detective (I'm presuming her blackouts might have something to do with it?) b) how/why Marcella can simply ask to go back to work and be allowed to do so.

I still cant find out where she got the golf club from to smash up her husbands car outside his office?

I don't know where she got the golf club from. Did she take it with her? I also thought she was back in the office rather quickly - but I don't care about any of that really. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
