After all the grief some of us have encountered recently on this site I am glad I was not alone in this latest hiccup ( selfish I know) but having just dumped Kaspersky for Avast I am watching every development very carefully at the moment. :-) This avatar thing arose not more than 40 minutes after I changed security.

Its been happening to me for ages, and I have often mentioned it on here.

Sometimes they go altogether and sometimes they appear but without the posters name underneath. I shut AB down and it seems to do the trick. But sometimes I need to close CHROME down altogether and then re-open it.

Its very irritating !
