Well. That was a temple of disappointment! No tits, no bums, just lots of blubbing.

But surely you watched it for the wonderful storyline. ;-)

Of course, mamya;-)
I actually loved it, good casting too.

Mellors not as good on the eye as Poldark though, what do you think ladies?
Never watched Poldark, yes it was well cast- he wasn't my type but it worked well.
.... and definitely preferred the wonderful Sean Bean in the 1993 TV version! ;)

If you want bums you should watch Women in Love. Same Author. Alan Bates and Ollie Reed do a nice presentation of bums but the dangly bits were not tits so unless you are of another persuasion you may be disappointed.
First film to show men's meat and two veg.

@retro....oh really...are you being silly again? ;)
I slept through it, sadly.

Great, loved Mellors!
In my school days , in the sixth form , there was a copy of Lady Chatterley's
lover in the library .

Well i say 'in the library' - it was hardly ever in the library
I think they should make you our (AB) TV critic, melv.
I've heard rumours that "tits and bums" can be found on the internet. Possibly. In the dark corners of it somewhere. So I guess you might just maybe be able to find a plentiful supply if you look hard enough...
Especially now the House of Commons are sitting again.

Only connect is worth watching for VCM's appendages;-)
I enjoyed it.
Didn't the Beeb change the end? It seemed different to the LC novel that I read.
Different to the novel and the Ken Russell (definitive) version but very enjoyable nevertheless. Sean Bean's Mellors is by far the better though Richard Madden is excellent in his own interpretation. At last something decent to watch on a Sunday evening, An Inspector Calls and The Go Between to come too.
Yes, the original was more a commentary about the social turmoil in Britain at the end of the war, Chatterley sending Connie a letter to lay out his concerns about society at large rather than divorcing her up-front.....she having gone to Scotland, Mellor working on a farm to wait for the six month divorce period to run out.
