The family is keeping fine thanks Jan.
After a few weeks of rain (most unusual here) we have some sunny days following a frosty start, still chilly though, but that's winter for you.
Master Otto came home for the Uni hols, stayed 3 weeks, has gone back to Sydney now. Gee I miss the little tacker ;-).

Probably end of November Jan, there are 2 other "Young Master Otto,s" to keep me in line though.
Some days during winter the frost in the shaded areas never melts. The bird bath freezes for days upon end. Yes, it does get cold here, but it is a "dry cold".
Minus 8c is the coldest I've recorded in the last fifteen years. 48c is the hottest.

We don't get snow here, not "high" enough apparently, but it does fall close by.
Lots of locals took their "ankle biters" to Coolah Tops, about 40mins drive away 2 weekends ago so they could build snowmen. I didn't coz I'm a grumpy old sod, besides that, all my kids are old enough to drive themselves wherever they want to go.
