Well, she definitely dies, again, so the answer to your question is Yes.

No, never, you don't know what happens to her . Joss left her character open as Juliet Landau was not available for the final season.  The only time she returned was as the First.  But in the book she dies in the lost slayer five years in the future.

darla staked herself to give birth to Connor, (darla is latin for Dear One)

Spike threatened to stake Drusilla to prove he loved Buffy and Angel set fire to both Drusilla and Darla but they never died because there was a fire hydrant nearby and they cracked that.

By the end of both Buffy and Angel only Darla was dead
