short or shorter hair is not cooler. Long enough to put up is cooler - so dont say cut it all off - unless you want to be bald, which I agree is the coolest of all. (but wont look cool!)

Mine is mid length and looks untidy when it's tied back. If it was long it would be far less irritating.

I wasn't thinking of bald, grassy. I was thinking of choppy. Wash and go sort of thing.

I'm having mine cut next week and find myself in the same quandary as you, if I leave it this length I can stick it up in a pony, but then never wear it down as it's too hot, or I can have a bit chopped off to just above the shoulders and possibly won't be able to put it up.

Decisions, decisions.

Mine is kind of easy and not irritating - shortesh graduated bob. I always go to Toni & Guy training school in central London. Takes forever but free. I think choppy wash and go sounds great.

Rocky, you should be able to put up shoulder length hair. I wish mine was either shoulder length, or short.

I'd had my hair medium length for ages and always ended up saying 'just take an inch off' so I decided to go shorter in stages. This last cut was the shortest I've been in a while and I had more compliments than I'd had for years....so next time it might be the 'go for it' choppy style.....it might :)
