Anyone watching this series? I didn't think the first one could be bettered but this is definitely a good watch.

Excellent acting from Keeley Hawes.

i haven't seen the second series, the first was a blinder though
It's certainly gripping! Has me on the edge of my seat.

It's very good Em, along the same lines as the last one but with a different copper being set up (or not).
Lenny James was marvellous, his life unravelled and took a way out, which was a shame, as i thought he could have done a runner, and then perhaps he could have stayed for the second series.
Question Author
To be honest Em, you don't need him, it's a whole new story with a different copper being looked at for corruption, the three main investigators are the same though.
It's really good ,when Jessica Raine was pushed through the window I nearly fell off the settee in fright. I didn't see that coming !
Keeley Hawes is excellent in it .
perhaps will do a catch up...
Question Author
Keeley Hawes is brilliant, you can almost see her ticking, roll on tomorrow night for the next installment.
Anyone watching this series? I didn't think the first one could be bettered but this is definitely a good watch.

I can only concur, it's the best written and most gripping drama currently on TV IMHO. Didn't think it could match Series 1 but it certainly has.
Has anyone noticed the mistake yet from the first series, regarding Steve Arnott?
not sure why i haven't watched so far, perhaps there is a knitting programme on the other side. x
Question Author
Lol Em, see if you can get it in iplayer, but be quick as episode 3 is on tomorrow.

Chill, I've not noticed any mistake about Arnott, do tell.
Could be wrong rocky, but didn't he lose a finger to a pair of bolt cutters in Series 1?
On I player !
he did, as far as i remember, that was an awful scene to watch
Question Author
Yes he did didn't he, they made a bit of a booboo there. I wonder if anyone else noticed.
has it grown back then.
To digress slightly but if anyone is interested in a similar, well written series about Police corruption you won't go far wrong with The Shadow Line, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Nigel Ecclestone, on BBC2 roughly some 3 years ago.

You won't be disappointed.
Question Author
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for that.
i did think going on the yowls and howls, that he had his finger cut off, so if he is in the new series with all intact, perhaps not.
Any of you regulars care to comment about tonight?
Can this series get any better? Edge of the seat stuff and there's still 2 episodes to go!
