Lost

Anyone watching Lost tonight? I'm tempted but what's putting me off is the fact that it lasts 26 WEEKS! Half a year! What is it with Americans and everlasting serials? They never heard of short and sweet?

Desperate Housewives was a similar length (23 episodes, 1 per week) and that might have put me off watching if I'd realised, but I'm so glad I did. American progs aren't usually my thing, but I was hooked after the first episdode, and didn't want it to end. I suspect I'll be the same with Lost.

Go on - watch it. You know it makes sense ;o)

We are quite a way through it over here in Ireland and it is totally worth watching fatcat.   And BOO watch out for Sawyer - now thats gorgeous.

The guy who plays Jack was in another series called Party of Five, about five children orphaned when their parents were killed in a car crash.   He was the older brother and looked after them.  Jennifer Love Hewitt (I think that's her name) was in it, as was Neve Campbell.

I think it looks a great series, just such a pity there were so many adverts !!!   three x 4 mins. in the first 25 mins.!

2 on Channel 4 and on on E4

Very good, but by all accounts from my housemate whos seen them already (tut tut) they cut all the gore out. Well a bit of blood and something at the end which shows you where the pilot went....but you dont see it?!?!?

I saw the first 2 episodes on a plane to Florida 3 weeks ago ( a bit daring of them to show something showing a plane crash!) and thought it was very good. Watched it again last night and the 3rd episode on E4.

BLIMEY! They showed it as in-flight entertainment? Didn't mean to put anyone off by the way with moaning how long it lasts. The bits I caught last night did look very good altho there were too many ads. Unfortunately I've never been on a plane with so many good looking people! What's the betting the lip gloss doesn't get lost?
