I think the whole X Factor thing is a bit of an insult to our intelligence.

A load of wannabes who have hardly any real talent, but who can be coached to sound adequate.

You wouldn't spend money to go and see any of them.

To try and make us think they are good, after listening to a mediocre karaoke style song, the panel tell them they are stunning, real talent, you have a big big future in music, etc.

It's insulting and laughable.

I saw JLS at the Capital Radio Summertime Ball a couple of years ago, and they mimed to their own CD.

I paid for tickets to go and see some guys mime to a CD we'd been listening to in the car.

Is that what the music business is coming to??!

I've never voted for anyone on the X Factor.

But I do buy lots of CDs from people who play in pubs, or in the square on town, because some of them are really good.

Surely Leona Lewis ranks up there as one of the best singers to come out of X Factor?

I liked Rebecca when she was in the show, always thought she was a class act, however I agree the song she sang last night was dire.
