After all the fab weather we have been having here on the East Coast (Chapel St. Leonards)it is very overcast this morning with a slight rainfall,wearing my jeans for first time in over a week.
Hope it's better where you are.

Well, its very hot indeed here in S. Wales, and that is after a very warm night, when sleep was impossible. No sign of any respite in sight for next week according to the BBC News Website as well. Not sure how much longer I can go with a proper nights sleep !

We need some rain here in Bedfordshire. My water butt is empty. Today is cloudy but breezy. Not enough cloud for rain though.

Very dull with a real coolish breeze here in Leicestershire - quite a shock to the system!
Don't worry Whistonian, it can only get worse - we are coming over to your coast on 12th Aug for a week in our touring caravan, so expect wind, rain, thunderstorms - the lot! It is normally the case for our hols there!
PS Do you have the annual plague of little black flies or ladybirds yet this year?

We have rarely seen more than a tiny wispy excuse for a cloud for the past 2 weeks and it's been reaching 30 here in Bournemouth. All 3 of my water butts are empty and the grass is mostly dead but I try hard not to complain as the cold wet weather will be back soon enough.

Then I'll keep my fingers crossed for you next month Ann,nope no sign of any small flies or ladybirds as yet. Must get back to Rotherham sometime next week to catch up on some gardening ,sigh.
