Just to show the Daily Mail-reading AB posters that Steve Bell and the Guardian in general are capable of criticizing Labour characters as well as Tory ones :::::::::::::

Just in case it comes up again, political cartoons are designed to make people think, not necessarily to be funny.

'wonderful'? It's not exactly a new 'thought provoking' idea that will come as a surprise.
Don't really get that one either and whilst it may be a labour leader many in the Guardian classed Mr Blair as a closet Tory so you point is rather moot.
To celebrate her passing, I've got a mad Thatcher being escorted from No. 10 as my wallpaper.

Thanks jake ! I never miss Bell, even if I am away on holiday...thank goodness for the 'net ! He is always perceptive and thought-provoking.

There is another reason to like his work, as he makes Daily Mail readers hot under the collar !
Yep, Mr.Blair was often termed a closet Tory. He also acknowledged Thatchers influence on him and his style as a PM.
