I've driven home in a brand new vauxhall corsa (well it's 4 months old and a hire car but hey) and I've bought a bottle of bacardi to celebrate, (yes , I know, it's called a juxtaposition) and then it's still B00's 50th birthday! How good is that?

Hi Society! Yes it's been smooth sailing so far, mechanic came to my work at 10am as arranged and picked up my car and then at 5pm enterprise turned up at work to take me for the hire car and it's great! i have the hire car until 4th april if i need it.

Well I am feeling terribly self righteous. I saw Mr BM's son off to school, knocked out an advice, printed a load of family history stuff, nipped off and gave a lecture, came home and cooked a confit of pork, a plum coulis and an apple and onion veloute for tomorrow night, cooked supper, tidied up. Am just about to make some nibbles.

Although Mr BM says my recent comment "I am fekkin sick of pushing broccoli through sieves", wins quote of the month.

I hate Broccoli. I know it's good for you, but I can't swallow it. A bit like.......

No Society, the word for me is "stoopid". Any normal woman is sat down with a glass of plonk in front of the tv. Whereas I am knocking up some stilton and walnut palmiers.
