After our "conversation" the other day about our car.Have just spoken to the garage and this is what has been done.Rear engine oil seal.New fly wheel,clutch and starter.Just wondered what you thought.Thanks.

Quite a bit of work there giveup, so I am not surprised at the quote that you had. Was oil leaking on to the clutch and making it slip by any chance ?.

The man said when they took something off it was full of oil (forget what,he does go on) Anyrate its done now.He also said he has taken photographs because he thinks my husband will be interested to see what was wrong. As if we haven't got enough photo's of bits of ships without starting on cars.
Wish it was Christmas,I could go carol singing to raise some cash.
