i know it's a soap, unrealistic and so on, but Laurel moving into Marlon's place, just how many bedrooms does he have. There will be him and Laurel, Gabby and Arthur, Lizzie, and Sandy, unless he has a mansion can't see them all squeezing in.

and where's the dog?
lol...I think he lives in Tall Trees Cottage. It must be a lot taller than it looks :)
Question Author
Tall Trees cottage of course, up not out... x lol
The soap rule seems to be that the smaller a house looks from the outside, the more people can live there, look at the Corrie houses!
Question Author
I know, perhaps they are rather Tardis like, tiny from outside but massive once you get in.
2 bedrooms, one bathroom and three yurts should do it.
Question Author
who gets the yurts, reckon Gabby, she looks dead miserable.
It is a bit ridiculous. Does it look now as if ashley is going to have an affair with Moira?
perhaps the house is made of yeast, he is a cook
But Ashley only has three and a half inches whereas she, Moira, likes sausages.
Question Author
that's what i thought, Moira is going to have a fling with the vicar, all go isn't it.
And I thought he was going to be executed?
I don't know where they all get their energy!
Question Author
DT are you watching the same programme.
yep, em, may write some of the "other" programme.....
Question Author
do tell...
suffice to say, one of my eds was/is big with them so some scenario exploration and idea generation, top level and sketches....and there I stop!
Question Author
i know there is a big storyline coming soon, at least going on the trailers.
the trick that they use is writing beyond that, six months to a year out, allowing for the in and out of actors, not as in permanently but in things like vacation time, plus the need to resource in all they need to underpin the storylines.......I have been involved on the fringe, writing in long term scenarios - I would love a go at writing the screen play, though that is very different to my normal literary writing (and outside the bread and butter of the tech work I put together).

It's fun and what this Ed has done is to push me to develop.....partly as I have discovered that I can write pretty cleanly, i.e. not massive proofing needed (after spelling and 1st line editing on Word - and that is done here, well not on AB...lol).
They use a number of folk to shape the ideas, so you have three levels in effect -long term, short-medium term (where the trailers are generated from) and then the final screen play. Imagine writing a 90% dialogue with some generic instructions and scene setting.....and making it as natural as possible - I find it interesting to see how some of the actors can be so "fluent" and others, you occasionally go "ouch" - as well, some of the kids are truly amazing....
