what's with the hour long episode of emmerdale tonight?

I read that it was because of "skedule changes", but I thought the skedule change was that emmerdale was moving to 7 30, and cori was moving to 8

or has that not taken affect yet

Oops , and Wednesday too, than an hour of Corrie on Sunday after Dancing on Ice

Why don't they start the football earlier, then give them the length of Coronation Street as their break.
