It's the start of a five shifter for me so I am here till Wedneday morning.

Yuck a 5 shifter. I thought you did 2 nights and 2 days but I seem to remember that the 5th was occasionally to do ;extras' That doesn't come acrosss too well does it? :)

It can be 3 day's 2 nights, or 2 days 3 nights or 2 days 2 nights or on a relief week we can be put anywhere in the week to covers shortages on a 36 hr or 48hr basis. We are still earmarked to close in March 31 2012, so still no news on a move to another location as yet.

Hi everyone - I'm happily "retired", but have a business meeting I've been putting off all week, and have to venture out today. At least it's in a pub, with a guy who builds them...

I sympathise with you overworked ABers - Mrs V is on 6 nights at the moment, but on emergency call for much of her time. No fun drinking by myself - I'm nearly T total!

Poor Mrs V has been doing permanent nights , mostly weekends too, for 25 years. Her body clock stopped working ages ago!

Morning All, I hope everyone is wrapped up nice and warm this morning - minus 8 in the village this morning and not much better by the time I got into work. Heatwave due over the weekend - a balmy 8degrees!!! No excuses for the England team dropping the ball tomorrow!!!
