Did anyone else think that the storyline where Becky and Kylie got Tracey's medical notes was totally far-fetched and farcical? I do realise it's not true (!) but the writing was very weak and spoiled an otherwise good idea.

i have gone past the point of no return with corrie, and if i watch it's half heartedly, and even then the storylines seem so extreme. if she gives a proverbial kicking to that awful tracey barlow, and the actress who plays her, then fine. But my mind goes elsewhere when do watch, preferably something more entertaining

I didn't realise how easy it was to get onto computers in Medical Centres and immediately locate a patient's notes!! ;0). Totally daft! But I am still watching.

Agree with 2shortplants, there has to be an element of reality.
lol things never work that quickly when i pop in to the office to print something out...
Far fetched yes, but gotta see Becky's exit, sha was a great character most of the time
..............and it's the wedding tonight!!
I stopped watching regularly some years ago because the characters were becomning increasingly unpleasant, and liasons increasingly far-fetched.

the 'jump the shark' moment occured for me when Carla declared that she had 'always loved' Peter Barlow!!!!

This is a woman who would only have to step out in a public area and snap her fingers to see a queue of men form to ask her out, 'falling' for a boke who looks like a reflection in the back-end of a spoon with the personality of a tea-tray and the morals of an alley cat.

I'm all for people pairing off, but let's have a semblance of possibility about it!
she is going to stuff tracey hopefully, a character i cannot abide.
I think the writers are very insulting to the viewers of Corrie. I 'm a lifelong fan but find I've gone right off it because of weak and totally unbelievable storylines. We know it's not true but come on, give it SOME credibility!
^^ Andy is first in that queue :-)

Realistically, Roy and Haley would have advised her to go to the police. After all, she did go to them initially. I agree with Horseshoe that the writers are insulting us loyal viewers.
She did go to the Police didn't she - for false accusations? Not sure what came of it though
Now come on Andy - Peter's not ugly by any means - morals of an alley cat, yes I would agree, but then so has Carla!! Both are alcoholics. Well suited!!! ;o)
Hi Lottie,

OK, I may have gone a bit OTT about Peter, I know a lot of women think he is attractive, but it is his personality that makes me wonder why Carlas has fallen for him.

Jealous? Moi? Too RIGHT!!!
and the storyline with becky and that new fella i think is a bit unrealistic, too.

soo, her exit then, will it be she jets off to sunny barbados with him?
time becky did her own thing, good actress
I haven't watched it for years. Too far fetched.

Yeh,new fella for Becky storyline also unrealistic. He is gorgeous though in real life I don't think Becky would be his type. He seems so quiet and sensible. I know Carla is beautiful but I can't stand her voice.
In real life he wouldn't fancy Becky because he likes fellas. But he sure is gorgeous.

Agree about Carla's voice though. And don't let Andy see this, but she does have a Miss Piggy nose!!
She sure got that glass of water quickly!
