Internet connection

I have an internet account with Sky and since ive been with them my internet connection is rubbish, so i phoned and complained. However they have run tests on my line and apparently the connection is "excellent".

Basically everytime i switch my PC on and want to connect to the internet, it seems to take forever. When it FINALLY gets to my home page (sometimes, if at all!!) and i want to click onto any website, it justs takes an age and sometimes it just freezes and i have to "end task" on task manager. I have run McAfee virus scans but that doesnt find any probs.

Does any one know why it takes so long to connect to the net or to change web pages??? Its driving me up the wall!

well if you look on the internet theirs a lot of people having trouble with sky broadband but if you be your computer. mcafee antivirus is proven to slow some computers down so if could be your computer or it could be sky
